Things have been perking up recently. My company is finally a registered business, tomorrow we open our company bank account, and we found a lawyer to help along the way pro-bono. We finally finalized everything with our very talented art intern, and we even onboarded a new volunteer programmer. It's been a while....but I'm actually feeling happy...optimistic...I even hung out with some meetup members recently who noted an upbeat change in me. I even lost a whole 5 lbs! O_O; For those of you who hadn't read in previous journals, I put on a good 30+ lbs after reaching my goal, because I was just so severely depressed and eating like I've never seen food before LOL.
Anyway, now that my head is a little more clear, I've been trying to reorganize my priorities. I should have done this initially, but I've now suspended my Patreon account. I do plan to get the second page done of the comic, as well as this past months 2 pages. I do plan to continue with the comic in the long term, but I've been crunching at work, and will be doing so until I launch my company's kickstarter hopefully by late May. I figured instead of my followers, fans, supporters and friends sending me money via Patreon on Paypal for support, I could instead make a wishlist on Amazon, which you can find here a.co/dDI4pVj Honestly, I'm completely humbled when people message me and offer me money, even if it's a few bucks...but it's so awkward lol. I feel extremely guilty and undeserving, and I have no idea how to properly say 'Yes, thank you for your gift' because I'm just an awkward person sometimes lol. I apologize XD At least with a wishlist, you know I'm not spending money on garbage lol.
So, aside from my company, of which I will provide some visual updates to soon, I've also been trying to make room for the other two big things on my radar. My almost finished commission pile, and SizeCon which is now 4 months away. I've made proper time now in my schedule hopefully to get something new up here at least once a week, because it's just ridiculous that people have had to wait this long. I know it's been like hundreds of vouchers sold...but it's also been like 2 years :/ Eep!
Recently, I visited the hotel where we'll be hosting Size Con (more info at www.sizecon.com), and it was just GORGEOUS! I don't know what magic Bryan pulled off, but this place is fucking amazing. I just had to share the photos I took!
They even have their own Bar, Restaurant and Starbucks inside!
For those traveling via plane to New York City. The hotel offers free pickup from and to Laguardia Airport, as well as free flight check-in inside the hotel! No lines for you! And no need to rent a car either, there's plenty of public transportation, ubers and taxis available. Plus there are plenty of food and shopping options a few blocks walk from the hotel.
The place where we will be hosting Size Con, will be in a private space, not open to other hotel guests. Beyond these double doors (which will be blocked out), is where Size Con will live.
Inside are 3 breakout rooms for panels, game events and more. These rooms are much bigger than our panel room last year, and they are indeed AIR CONDITIONED! YAY! Enjoy the back of Bryan's head, he never joins in for pictures
The area we're most excited about however is the ballroom where we will house our artist alley and other shops. IT IS HUGE! Here is and myself, in no particular order. Bryan of course didn't want to be in the picture lol. *jab*
You don't understand...this ballroom alone could fit almost two SizeCon 16's in it LOL. Well, we heard you, and luckily we raised enough money last year to upgrade!
More updates to come!!! Please don't forget to check out for updates, and check our newest journal packed with some exciting updates here:
Please also, don't forget to buy your tickets, and don't forget to book at the hotel where we're hosting it. We get a discount !!!!! Aside from that, there is a pool, and all sorts of cool stuff at the hotel. I think a Size slumber party is in order. We're gonna take over this hotel anyway So looking forward to connecting with old size friends, and make new ones this year too! Hope to see you there

SizeCon17 Update 4/5/17Hi Everyone,
SizeCon is less than four months away, and as such things have been picking up quite a bit. Today we went on a site visit to our venue -- the Courtyard LaGuardia -- more on that next week (spoilers: it's amazing!!). As for today, I wanted to announce a few new special guests as well as give you a quick update on how we're doing so far!
1.) We've sold 49 tickets so far -- close to half the attendance we had at last year's con -- and we're still four months out! For perspective, last year we only just started selling tickets four months out. We're ultimately hoping to get to 250, and I think we can do it. If you're on the fence, take inspiration from the almost 160+ ticket purchasers we've had across this year and last!
2.) Announcing a couple new artists!
Lemon Drop Soda - Lemon is a friend of one of last year's attendees :iconbonka-chan:! Very excited that Bonka convinced another very talented artist to join our Artist's Alley! Lemon primarily indulges in fat kink, but has

Lots up updates!!
Firstly, I want to thank you all for all the warm well wishes, and birthday wishes as well. 💖 I'll save my personal updates for the end of the journal - for now, please enjoy these business-related updates! 🌸What to expect from Jit going forward...🌸 Finally, after late last year's layoff, my husband got a really good job here in Japan! Because of that, I want to organize my own business a bit more, as we're finally going to have a normal schedule for once. Since he worked for an American company before, we'd be up at all sorts of hours (I accompanied him of course). That means you will probably be seeing me around much more frequently! 🎉 Below will be some of the projects I'm working on or will be working on in the near future. 🌸Commissions🌸 As I mentioned in my previous journal, I am accepting $35/hourly rate commissions currently, with a minimum of 12 hours work per request (starting at $420). Because of that, most of my active customers are using me for projects, like short
Where I've been these past few months...
All of my journals pretty much start with apologies about radio silence, and this has been a big one. I'll give you the short and long version. tl;dr - I overworked - Got into a biking accident - Sergio's dad almost died (technically did die, several times), thankfully now stable - We had to emergency fly out to the US - loootsss of drama - Total disaster w/my parents (we don't have a good relationship) - commissions info I'm home now. Exhausted, but in a much better headspace. I got some info on how I'll be handling comms in the future, and that'll be towards the end, but for now, the long version (if you care to read drama). The long Version... October was nuts with work. Not only did I have my day job and commissions, but SizeCon [micro] was coming up November 10th and I had to give the entire virtual space a facelift, implement new features and so much more. If you're not aware of SizeCon [micro] here's a commercial we got explaining the concept - it's essentially a virtual

My slots are currently FULL!...they filled up in a few hours, so thank you for your support🙏Please keep an eye on this space, as I plan to open up more slots in the near future as I get closer to the bottom of the list - I'll make another posting to let you all know that I'm open again. I suspect it'll be about 3 weeks from now. ✨ CUSTOMER LIST ✨ (🎉FINISHED!!) Virmegator (🎉FINISHED!!) @ChampionOfTzeentch (🎉FINISHED!!) \\ Commissions (FULL more slots soon)!!! //
Heyyyy~ You know some shits hit the fan when Jit is OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS!! Tl;dr my husband's whole office got laid off this Friday, and since he's the breadwinner, it not only complicates finances, but 10 million other things that we needed money for - like we need to fix some expensive paperwork for our visa, we've been trying to get pregnant, etc!! Thankfully we're okay at this moment, because we have been saving for all these things. I wouldn't have been worried otherwise, but the job loss came as a bit of a shock. Sergio has worked there for 7+ years, good relationship with his boss, great lead dev, always got his work done, etc. His company was all on board with him moving out to Japan and reassured him he could keep his job doing so. This arrangement only lasted a year apparently🙃 But I guess it can't be helped if they don't have money. It is what it is. I'm going to wrap up what I'm working on now for my Patreon, and I'll be putting it on hiatus after this month. Sergio
